About this policy

This Cookie Policy explains the cookies and similar technologies used by the TD & Partners Global website, why we use them, and how you can manage your preferences. It should be read alongside our Global Privacy Notice. This policy reflects the actual implementation of this website at its effective date.

02

What cookies and similar technologies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. Local storage and session storage are similar browser technologies that allow information to be stored locally. We use the term "cookies and similar technologies" to cover all of these. They can be first-party (set by us) or third-party (set by other organisations).

03

Categories we use

We classify technologies into four categories: Strictly Necessary (required for the website to function and to remember your consent choices); Functional (enable enhanced features); Analytics (help us understand usage and improve the site); and Marketing (used to deliver relevant communications where you have opted in). Non-essential categories are not active until you consent.

04

Strictly necessary technologies

These technologies enable core functionality such as displaying pages, securing forms and remembering your cookie-consent choice itself. They are always active and cannot be disabled because the website cannot operate without them. They are not used for tracking or profiling.

05

Authentication and security

Where authentication is used (for example, for administrative access), we use session technologies required to maintain a secure session and protect against unauthorised access. These are strictly necessary and expire when the session ends.

06

Analytics

We use analytics to understand aggregate usage of the website. Analytics technologies are non-essential and are only loaded where you have consented. We use analytics to improve content, navigation and performance, and we avoid using it to identify individuals personally where possible.

07

Form tools

Information submitted through our forms (such as Work With Us and careers applications) is transmitted to our systems for processing and is not stored in cookies on your device. Functional technologies may be used to preserve form progress where appropriate, and only with your consent.

08

Embedded media

Where we embed third-party media, such technologies may set their own cookies. We only embed such media where necessary and, where consent is required, only after you have consented to the relevant category. We encourage you to review the cookie policies of third-party providers.

09

Cookie inventory

The cookie inventory below identifies the principal technologies used by this website. The inventory is maintained to reflect the actual implementation; if it materially changes, we will update this policy and, where required, seek fresh consent. Specific names, providers, purposes, categories, durations and first/third-party status are listed in the table presented on the policy page.

10

Managing your preferences

When you first visit, we present a cookie banner giving you equal choice to accept all or reject non-essential technologies, and to manage your preferences. Non-essential categories are not pre-ticked. Continued browsing is not treated as consent. Your choice and the consent-policy version are stored so we do not show the banner again unless the policy or inventory materially changes.

11

Changing or withdrawing preferences

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time using the Cookie Settings link in the footer of every page. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal. Most browsers also let you manage or delete cookies in their settings.

12

Third-party controls

Some third-party technologies may offer their own preference controls. We provide links to relevant controls where available. Where a third-party technology would set cookies before consent, we only load it after consent is given.

13

Review and changes

We review this policy regularly and update the version when the inventory or our practices change materially. The effective date, review date and version are shown on the policy page.
